The last of the great Chickasaw Indian Chiefs

For those who enjoy learning about American history and experiencing the most beautiful State Park in Mississippi, you’ll learn about Tishomingo State Park. Chief Tishomingo was the last of the Great Chickasaw Indian Chiefs. He was known for leading warriors by example and was highly respected for his honesty and high moral standards. He received a silver medal from President George Washington and during the War of 1812, Chief Tishomingo served under Andrew Jackson.

Tim Wassberg, Editor of MRV The Buzz highlights Tishomingo State Park this Sunday. It’ll be a fun history lesson to one of the most scenic places in the country. And yes. You can stay in your RV in the State Park!
